Midnight .. The power plant will stop working completely in Gaza Strip
The electricity distribution company in the Gaza Strip: The Energy and Natural Resources Authority, told them to extinguish the power plant, the middle of the night.
The Electricity Company of "Palestinian People" confirmed that the Energy Authority informed them that the remaining generator in the generating station was stopped at midnight, due to lack of fuel to operate the plant.
The company added that this will have negative effects on the electricity distribution schedule, because the dependence tomorrow will be only on the Israeli power lines, especially in light of the station's stop in Gaza, as well as the disruption of all Egyptian lines, feeding to the southern Gaza Strip.
The company said that the Israeli lines, which feed the sector, give 120 MW, and the sector needs 500 MW.
Zafer Melhem, acting head of the Energy Authority to " Palestinian People ", said the Authority is exerting all its efforts to prevent the station from being shut down.
